EGYPTAIR doubles flights to Libya

As a result of the increase in traffic between Egypt and Libya, and in response for its customers’ needs, EGYPTAIR took the decision of doubling the flights to the Libyan cities to become 21 weekly flights instead of 11 flights; by double daily flights to Tripoli starting 7th of Dec and a daily flight to Ben Ghazi starting 8th of Dec.
In this regard, Eng Hussein Massoud, EGYPTAIR HOLDING Chairman & CEO said “we expected the increase in operation after the decree of resuming flights to Libya last November, this is in addition to the increase in load factor on these routes, the matter which pushed us to increase the flights as a support to the links between Egypt and Libya.”
From his side, Capt Ayman Nasr, EGYPTAIR AIRLINES Chairman & CEO, said “the national company doesn’t save any efforts that yield benefits to the national economy or that can meet the customers’ expectations, especially that Egypt and Libya currently face similar conditions. This requires the national entities in both countries to exert more efforts and to take more positive decisions for the best of the two nations.”
